Nokia N8 Game A Day: Ovi suggests WarChess 3D

                                      

Unfortunately this will be the last Nokia N8 Game A Day post. The good news is we saved one of the best for last: WarChess 3D from IG FUN! If you’re a fledgling chess player or a grand master this game offers everything you need from a chess game.
WarChess 3D has five difficulty levels, offering a good competitive game no matter your skill level. Those that understand the basic rules and have played before will likely find 3+ challenging. For the experts out there let me know if you can beat level 5; I know a thing or two about chess but didn’t stand a chance against the games very powerful AI.


WarChess 3D adds variety to the game through five different themed boards; ranging from your classic chessboard to a fully 3D Animal Kingdom board complete with animal pieces and a natural forest background. The battle scenes that occur when you take an opponent’s piece are fun to watch and make this game perfect for young chess players just learning the game. (I especially like the Elephant, it perfectly suits what I think of the Rook.)


All the features you expect from a chess game are included such as being able to undo your latest move, track the pieces lost on both sides, and see each move made during the game using the grid system (another great way to teach new chess players the game).
